Events shops run
Designer trunk shows, new season previews, private shopping evenings, fitting days, sample sales, pop-ups with a neighbor shop, and holiday late openings. Each one needs the same basics written down once, in a place people can find again on the day.
What goes on an event page
| Part | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Date, time and time zone | Plain and near the top, so nobody arrives an hour late |
| RSVP form | Name, party size and an optional note, sent to your inbox |
| Capacity note | Lets people know if spaces are limited or if walk-ins are welcome |
| Calendar file | One tap adds the event to a phone calendar |
| Parking and entrance | Evening events often use a different door or a side lot |
| Accessibility | Steps, seating and anything else a guest should know ahead |
RSVPs and reminders
RSVPs arrive by email, and we can send them to a shared spreadsheet so your team sees the count in one place. If you want a cap, the form can close itself once you reach it and show a waitlist instead. A reminder email the day before is possible when the guest leaves an address and agrees to it.
On the home page
The next event shows as a small banner on the home page and the events list, then drops off by itself once the date passes. Past events can move into an archive with a few photos, which helps the next one: people can see what a trunk show at your shop looks like.
Repeating events
If you run the same thing every month, such as a first-Thursday late opening, we set it up once with a rule, and the page always shows the next date. Your staff only touch it when something changes.
Questions
Can people pay for tickets on the page?
We don't set up payments. If an event is ticketed through another service, the page links to it and keeps the rest of the details on your site.
Can staff add an event themselves?
Yes. Events use a template with fields for the date, time, description and RSVP settings, so adding one takes a few minutes.
