Detroit shops
Detroit's independent retail runs from shops in Midtown, Corktown and West Village to suburbs such as Ferndale, Royal Oak and Birmingham. Plenty of shops sit in older commercial buildings, where the entrance can be around the side or up a few steps. The visit page should say so plainly, with a photo, and note anything a guest using a wheelchair or a stroller needs to know.
Long, snowy winters make the pickup page useful for a big part of the year. Customers want to know whether they can call ahead, how long you'll hold a size and where to pull up. Vintage and resale shops get a lot from a weekly arrivals page, since regulars check in to see what came in before they make the trip.
How a Detroit project runs
- You tell us what you sell, how customers reach you now and any dates coming up.
- We reply with questions, then a written quote with the page list and a target launch date.
- You approve a site map and a design for the home page and one lookbook or event page.
- We build the rest, check every form and map on a phone, and launch on your domain.
The project runs by email, shared folders and video calls booked in Eastern time. We have no office or studio in Detroit, and the work doesn't need one. If you want new photos, you or a local photographer can shoot them from a list we send.

Questions
What time zone do you work in for Detroit shops?
Eastern time. We book calls in your local time and handle the rest by email and shared folders.
We buy and sell vintage. Can the site explain how buying works?
Yes. A sell-to-us page can cover what you take, when you buy and how payouts work, in your own words.
Ask for a quote
Cost depends on the number of pages, how many lookbooks or events you want set up, how much photo preparation and writing we do, and whether we look after the site afterwards. Each project gets its own written quote.
